Gene Bruno, M.S., M.H.S., R.H. (AHG)

Gene Bruno is the Provost/Chief Academic Officer and Professor of Dietary Supplement Science for Huntington College of Health Sciences, a nationally accredited distance learning college offering diplomas and degrees in nutrition and integrative healthcare.

Educated at institutions in the United States and aboard, Professor Bruno was has two undergraduate Diplomas in Nutrition, a Bachelors in Nutrition, a Masters in Nutrition, a Graduate Diploma in Herbal Medicine, and a Masters in Herbal Medicine.

For decades Professor Bruno has educated and trained healthcare professionals and natural product retailers, teaching at the University of Southern California, School of Pharmacy, Huntington College of Health Sciences, conducting seminars at natural product industry trade shows, a facilitating training programs for independent and chain vitamin stores.

Professor Bruno has researched and formulated natural products for dozens of dietary supplement companies, winning several industry awards for his formulations. Each month he writes articles on nutrition, herbal medicine, nutraceuticals and integrative health issues for publications such as Vitamin Retailer Magazine, Natural Product Insider, and Total Health Magazine. He has also authored studies for peer-reviewed publications, and written chapters for textbook on nutraceutical related topics.  Gene latest book, A Guide to Complimentary Treatments for Diabetes, is available on, and other fine retailers.

Brandon Colby, M.D.

Dr. Colby, author of the groundbreaking “Out Smart Your Genes,” is an international leader in the field of Predictive Medicine, a groundbreaking medical specialty that combines comprehensive genetic testing with personalized prevention based upon your genes. The primary goal of Predictive Medicine isn’t just to alert you to diseases you are predisposed to but also to empower you to fight back and protect yourself against those diseases before they even manifest.

He holds a degree in Genetics from the University of Michigan Honors Program, an MD from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and an MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.

Dr. Colby is an Affiliate Specialist of the American College of Medical Genetics (ACMG), an Associate of the American College of Preventive Medicine (ACPM), and a member of the American Society of Human Genetics (ASHG), and the National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC).

James C. Meehan, Jr., M.D. / Director of TeloVite Clinical Research

Dr. Meehan received a congressional appointment to West Point, the United States Military Academy. As a West Point cadet Dr. Meehan excelled in academics, athletics, and leadership. He was recognized as the Outstanding Fourth Class Cadet and selected to lead his classmates as Regimental Commander of the Corps of Cadets.

Dr. Meehan attended Oklahoma University College of Medicine where he served as class president and received the prestigious Presbyterian-Harris Medical Student Research Scholarship. This research award allowed him to pursue research in ophthalmology at the Dean McGee Eye Institute.

After completing an internship in internal medicine at Oklahoma University in Tulsa, Jim began his training at Washington University and Barnes-Jewish hospital in St. Louis, a top-ten ranked ophthalmology residency program. In addition to serving as chief resident of the John Cochran VA medical center, Dr. Meehan served three years as an associate editor for the Journal of Ocular Immunology.

Jim is now focused on the mission of delivering preventive and proactive health care using patient-centered IT practices. He is fulfilling a passion to empower consumers with information and intelligent solutions for continuous home measurement and self-monitoring of their health biomarkers.

Dr. Meehan holds a third degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and he is an NAGA World Jiu-Jitsu Champion, and inducted member of the Martial Arts Masters Hall of Fame.
